We are currently looking to add an experienced traffic manager to our team.
The right person will have to be supremely organised, flexible and able to work well under pressure within a small team.
This is a full-time flexi-time position. We expect you to work Monday to Friday, 9am-1pm and then the rest of the hours to be distributed in a way that includes earlier mornings, evening sessions, and weekend sessions. The exact schedule will change weekly, according to our workload and your preferences.
The role involves:
- Sourcing, hiring, onboarding and training of people to work on our projects. This is primarily freelance capacity, which we regularly seek out to fill capacity and expertise gaps in design, development, project management, video, editing, etc.
- Maintaining talent rosters, capacity planning, schedules, and other traffic management resources for both internal staff and external resources
- Helping account managers find the resources they need to deliver on their project plans
- Working to identify, and then lead implementation of, improvements to our traffic management systems and processes
- Managing your own projects, depending on our workload
The applicant should:
- Have 3+ years of experience as a traffic manager at a creative agency
- Have some experience in traditional project management activities such as planning, delegating and delivering to time and budget.
- Have excellent coordination and organisational skills; you should find it energising to multitask and thrive in a role requiring consistent juggling
- Have excellent writing and communication abilities in English.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working with collaborators around the world from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Be able to think at the systems level, to identify and steer ways of continually optimising our systems for traffic management
- Be an adaptable team player and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
