Data-rich animated PowerPoint for the Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme (THE PEP)
The Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme (THE PEP) is a joint initiative by WHO and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), bringing together governments and other stakeholders to advance sustainable and healthy transport policies.
The brief
At the Fifth High-level Meeting Meeting on Transport, Health and Environment in 2021, governments adopted the Vienna Declaration, which included the introduction of the biannual THE PEP survey to help countries track progress and coordinate actions across transport, health and environment sectors. Lushomo’s role was to transform the country survey data into a visual format that would quickly communicate key findings.
Our approach
The PowerPoint presentation was designed with a focus on breaking down complex survey data into visually impactful and easy to digest charts. Infographics and icons were incorporated as visual cues to enhance understanding and animation was used to reveal information sequentially and guide the audience through the data.
Visual language
Clean, structured data visualisations combine white text and bright colours with a contrasting dark background. This allows the information to truly stand out.
The deliverables
This animated infographic PowerPoint presentation is downloadable from THE PEP website and has been used in presentations to highlight policy successes, identify challenges, and pinpoint areas requiring further action.
The highlights
THE PEP is the first and only international programme designed to integrate environmental and health aspects into transport, mobility and urban planning policies. Working with THE PEP survey data is a reminder of the positive impact this integration can bring to communities worldwide.
