Lushomo is currently looking for a Team Coordinator. The right person will be educated to at least a degree level. They will have good communication and coordination skills, be highly organised, technologically savvy, quick to learn and work well under pressure within a small team.  This position is based at our office space in Seapoint, Cape Town, or remote or some mix of both.

Lushomo helps partner organisations do good by communicating complex information effectively. We work mainly with United Nations clients and other international organisations in the areas of health, environment, education and economic development. We are mission-driven and only take on work that has a positive social impact. Lushomo is growing steadily, and together we are becoming leaders in information design and research communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Liaison: Act as a bridge between different teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.

- Project management: Assist in project coordination, tracking timelines, and managing deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

- Project coordination: Assist senior management in providing oversight on project timelines, deliverables, and ensuring adherence to project scopes to facilitate timely and successful project completion.

- Event coordination: Organise team-building activities, workshops, and events to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Administrative support: Provide administrative assistance to the management team, including organising quarterly reviews, checking budgets, checking project documentation and all project and management resources are organised and complete.

- Resource allocation: Work closely with team leads to allocate resources efficiently and ensure optimal team performance.

- Communication wizard: Ensure effective communication flows within the team, keeping everyone informed and engaged.



- Proven experience in a coordination or administrative role

- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

- Proactive and proficient in learning management software and other assistive technology quickly

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment

- A positive and proactive attitude with a knack for problem-solving
