The background

Youth unemployment is persistently high in the least developed countries. Disengaged youth risk contributing to social unrest and being excluded from economic opportunities, and they face unique challenges in navigating school-to-work transitions, accessing financial resources, and building personal assets to overcome poverty. The United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) ran a programme from 2010 to 2015 in eight African countries to pilot different approaches and business models to offer youth affordable, relevant and accessible financial products coupled with complementary non-financial services.

The brief

To develop a brochure on the evaluation of YouthStart’s pilot project in English and French, as well as a series of reports communicating the business case and stories from the programme.

Our response

The brochure, developed for funders of YouthStart Global, aimed to visually capture personal stories of impact and change, the broader effect of YouthStart’s pilot project, and to further build the case for the adoption and expansion of its activities.

Brochure
We ensured that this brochure would visually capture the personal stories of the YouthStart project, and show how this project had met and exceeded its objectives.
